Cable Beach

Flickr: TravelingOtter

Conveniently located alongside the resort strip in Baha Mar, Cable Beach offers a two and a half mile stretch of white sand bordering the crystalline waters of Nassau Island’s north shore. The sand here can tend towards the softer side, so it may not be your ideal surface, but it’s totally doable — visitors from the hotels can often be seen striding on the beach. If you’re not staying directly on the beach, a good starting point is Goodman’s Bay Park. You can do about 5 miles out and back by heading west along the shore.

Essentials
  • Up to 5 miles out and back
  • 43 feet
  • Goodman’s Bay Park
  • West Bay Street
