Canggu is an increasingly popular resort town known for its excellent surfing. It’s located just north of the popular resorts of Kuta and Seminyak. We’ve chosen this town as a great spot to enjoy a run among the rice paddies. The small, unnamed roads just inland from the beaches in this area, such as Canggu and Echo Beach, offer great views of the terraced rice paddies. It’s best to simply create your own route here. One great spot: the small roads off Jl. Babadan.
Other running options. The beach is good for running in this area, wide, flat and featuring firm sand near the water and at low tide. Further south, there’s good beach running from Seminyak to Kuta and a paved path from Kuta Beach south to Jerman Beach.
