Lumphini Park

Lumphini Park is one of the best places to run in Bangkok. The centrally located 142-acre park is the most important park in Bangkok, consisting of manicured gardens, an artificial lake, and plenty of lovely trees offering decent shade. The King Rama VI Monument is at the park’s entrance. There is a 2.5 km running path around the park, with distance markers. There are other paths as well. This is one of the most popular places to run in the city. Note: The park is reserved for walkers and runners in the morning between 7 to 10 and in the afternoon after 3 pm. There are also lockers and showers facilities available. Keep an eye out for monitor lizards!

For a longer run, combine with Benjakitti Park, using the ~1 km Lumphini-Benchakitti Park Walkway at the northern end of Lumphini. This makes for a 10-15 km run!
