Boca Raton Area Beach Running

Clearly one of the temptations of southern Florida is running on the beach. The best bet for beach running in the Boca Raton area is to head north, since south of Palmetto you’ll hit the inlet after about 1 mile. From Palmetto heading north, it is pretty seamless beach all the way to Delray Beach, about 8 miles.

The quality of beach running in Boca is dependent on the season, tides, and weather. It can be really great at low tide — the beach is flatter and the sand is more compact. Consult the tide charts to plan your run.
