Features:
Cohasset is an affluent coastal town located near Nantasket Beach. The 3-mile stretch along Atlantic Ave. and Jerusalem Rd. offers one of the longest waterside running opportunities on Boston’s south shore. The road runs between the intersection of Jerusalem Rd. & Nantasket Ave. at the Nativity Church, south to Mink Island near Sandy beach. There are great water views and spectacular homes most of the way. Note: the road has no shoulder or sidewalk but generally not too much traffic.
Add-Ons: Enjoy miles of great beach running on Nantasket Beach, which is 0.7 miles from the intersection of Jerusalem Rd. & Nantasket Ave. at the northern end of this route. There are also some more narrow, mainly wooded trails leading from Holly Hill Farm into Wheelright Park.
