Dorobanți Neighborhood

Lovers of architecture will delight in the Dorobanti neighborhood, where Bucharest’s post-Communist renaissance has resulted in a collection of large and impressive villas. Runners can enjoy exploring this neighborhood with an exploratory route of any length, or cruise along our 5 km tour which covers some of the best streets. You’ll get the best “feel” for this neighborhood on the streets between Bulevardul Aviatorilor and Calea Dorobanti, south of Aviatorilor, and north of Piaţa Victoriei. After covering beautiful streets such as Strada Paris, Strada Roma, and Strada Londre, our route returns via the Bulevardul Aviatorilor bike path.

Add-Ons: The neighborhood adjoins the iconic Herăstrău Park/King Mihai I Park, with its numerous trails and 7 km lake loop.

Essentials
  • 5.4 km (3.3 miles) loop. Easy add on in Herăstrău Park
  • 18 meters
  • Charles de Gualle Square
