District 10 is a bit off the beaten track. The area running highlight is Le Thi Rieng Park, which features some pleasant paths lined with poplar and eucalyptus trees, going over wooden bridges and past a small lake. One might have to do a few laps to put together a couple of km. Note: Part of this park includes an amusement park, which we understand is left open so walkers/runners can use the paths.
For a longer run, head north along Phạm Văn Hai for 0.5 km to the canal (Nhiêu Lộc-Thị Nghè) in District 3, where sidewalks/paths head east toward District 1 (see our canal run). Further south, enjoy some of the narrow streets and alleys of District 5, referred to as Cholon, especially between the Binh Tay and An Dong Markets.
