Features:
“The Field of Mars” in the Jesus Maria neighborhood of Lima is another local favorite park. The perimeter of the park forms a 1.3 mile triangle, but runners can add distance with a few short cross paths. Note the “Eye That Cries” monument in the eastern part of the park.
For a longer run, continue on the Av. Salverry bike path, which extends for miles to the south. There is still traffic on both sides of the path, but the median is a little more protected than other ciclovias.
