Parque El Olivar

This safe and scenic park is one of the largest in Lima, so it’s no wonder runners flock here to enjoy the ponds, gardens, and flat paved walkways. Access the long green corridor (sometimes known as Bosque El Olivar) in the San Isidro neighborhood, north of Miraflores. There are a few side paths, but the main route follows the red pavers of Constancio Bollar from south to north. It’s only about .5 mile one way, so most runners do a few laps or add on nearby sidewalks and bike paths.

Add-On Options: The most accessible path nearby is through the median of Av. Arequipa, to the east of the park. It goes for a good ways north and south. Also, just to the west, see our 3.6 loop around La Vuelta del Golf (golf course).

Essentials
  • .5 mile (.8 km) circuit with longer options
  • In park
  • Constancio Bollar
