Maui, HI

Central Island — Polipoli Springs

Polipoli is a great spot for views, with a high elevation climb winding up to vistas of the ocean and the Big Island of Hawaii beyond. The singletrack loop is about 9 miles, including the dirt road entry in. Although scenic, this trail is a challenge, including a tough uphill at elevation. In fact, you’ll gain about 800 feet from the parking lot up to the highest point on the trail.

On map: Take PoliPoli Trail to Plum Trail to Tie Trail.

Note: This is a challenging, hilly trail run.
