Features:
This beautiful section of Ibaraki is known as the “Green Tunnel” for its vibrant vegetation surrounding the reclaimed banks of the Ibaraki River. Start from Sawanagi Station and head west towards the linear park. Turn north on the flat brick path which runs through the park and follow it for about 2.8 km through cherry and dogwood trees to where it ends at the Ai River, for a distance of 4.5 km one-way.
