Lake Worth: John Prince Park

John Prince Park is a great running spot in the Lake Worth area, 8 miles south of the airport and near Rt. 95. There is a pleasant 4.5 mile paved multi-use path and nearly 7 miles of total paths in the park. Most of the paths are along the east or west sides of Lake Osbourne and the smaller Square Lake. The terrain is fairly open and there are some nice lake views. It isn’t really possible to do a full loop around the lake, as it involves some busier roads. The park itself is 726 acres, with a campground, ball fields, playgrounds, and a golf center.

The park is also right near the Lake Worth light rail station.

Essentials
  • 4.1 miles around the lake, ~7 total miles on park paths
  • Flat
  • Lake Worth Rd. & Center Drive
  • Good parking. Also Lake Worth Tri Rail Station. Multiple entrances -- see map

Where is this 4.1 mile path around Lake Oborne? The only paths I see are 11 and 15 miles longs, and not in a loop?
