Located in Ceiba on Puerto Rico’s east cost, the ‘Roosevelt Roads’ surrounding a former military base are lightly trafficked, and therefore a popular place to log miles on paved surface. Langley Drive, Forrestal Drive, Marina Drive, and Franklin Roosevelt Drive offer some of the longest stretches. Langley, Marina, Forrestal, and the road in front of the old naval station can be combined for a loop of about 8 miles. While the quiet is part of the appeal of this area, it has sort of a ghost town vibe, and locals recommend running in groups for safety.
