This gem of the Pere Marquette State Forest is best loved as a cross country ski trail, but mountain bikers and trail runners also flock here for the vistas of lakes, bogs, and the Platte River. The rolling singletrack is best run between May and November — just keep your head up for mountain bikers. From Reynolds Road in Lake Ann, the path is a 3.4 mile circuit on the west side of the road or a 5-mile circuit on both sides of the road. The trail is parked with posts (not mile markers) at key locations. There are occasional water views, but this is not a path around a lake.

Essentials
  • 3.4 and 5-mile loop options
