Tourism Whistler/Justa Jeskova

A section of the Valley Trail (half gravel, half paved) carves a popular 4.7 km loop around this pretty golf course. It is partially wooded and partially open, with rolling hills and views of the golf course in spots. Numerous folks we talked to say it’s a popular spot to view bears. The trail starts on the west side of Highway 99, just across the street from Whistler Village, opposite the Aava Hotel. At the ‘Crabapple Corner’ sign, the back half of the loop heads back toward Whistler Village. Note: Used for XC skiing in winter.

Add-On: Numerous add-on opportunities, on the Valley Trail. For a longer run, we recommend taking the section of the Valley Trail that continues from the northern end of the golf course, crossing Crabapple Dr. at Crabapple Corner, to the Emerald Forest Trail head. Here, you can enjoy the more rugged trails of the Emerald Forest area, or the more pastoral Valley Trail through the Golden Dreams Conservation Area, to Meadow Park (~ 3 km). You could even go further to Green Lake, and hop a bus back!
