Lagoa da Conceiçã Waterfront Run

Lagoa da Conceiçã (also known as Lagoa), located 10 km west of Florianópolis, is a popular visitor destination for its beautiful beaches and great surfing. There’s some nice running in Lagoa da Conceiçã, along the two lagoons in this area, on wide sidewalks/cycle paths alongside the main roads. Overall, one can do a run of ~9 km, enjoying great water views.

There are two sections of this run. Start at the Dundes de Lago (just across the bridge from the center), and run on the path along the Av. das Rendeiras for ~2 km to the end. Retrace your steps, and then run south of the bridge on the path/sidewalk alongside R. Ver. Osni Ortiga. This section is 2.5 km, before the road turns inland. The first 0.5 km of this section are a bit away from the water, but the rest is alongside the lagoon, with great views.
