A unique, traffic-free run with views and hills. Angel Island is in the middle of the Bay, accessible by ferry only. There's a 5 mile loop around the island, or a longer run can include the hill to the top. Other trail options too.
Canal Cuemanco, in the eastern part of the city, was the venue for rowing competitions in the 1968 olympic games. The paved 5K path around the canal makes a great place to run away from Colonia Centro. Great views of volcanoes and mountains.
The 17-mile Seawall is the world 's longest uninterrupted waterfront path. Highlights include the Stanley Park loop, False Creek, and the Seaside area. Starts downtown, near the harbourfront Convention Centre.
