Running in North America’s Top Summer Vacation Spots

In celebration of summer, we’ve put a lot of time into researching the best places to run in popular summer vacation destinations. From Memorial Day to Columbus Day, these areas attract tens of millions of visitors. Traverse City/Northwest Michigan. The Lake Michigan Coast from Grand Traverse Bay to Mackinaw City is considered one of the most scenic locations in the midwest, with giant rolling sand dunes, colorful cherry orchards, and shady hardwood forests bordering endless vistas of the Great Lakes.
