Lac d’Annecy North Waterfront

The most accessible running route in Annecy is along the northern waterfront of Lac d’Annecy. Here you’ll find a scenic promenade and a network of side paths around parks and gardens. From the center of Annecy, runners can pick up the path in Les Jardins l’Europe. A network of asphalt and gravel paths encircle this leafy park, but Quai Napoleon III is the main attraction along the waterfront. Runners can follow this route east across Pont des Amours to Prom. Jacquet and Parc Charles Bosson at Plage de l’Impérial for a 5k out and back. Or, continue southeast along Avenue du Petit Port for to Chavoire, making for a ~10k out and back. Surface is part paved and part gravel.
