The easiest and most popular run in Lake Placid is the 2.7 mile loop around Mirror Lake. There are water views for about 1/3 of the route, and a sidewalk that follows Mirror Lake Dr. Start in center of town on Main St., and follow the road around the lake (Mirror Lake Dr. for most of it). You’ll see lots of other runners and walkers! The nicest section is on the eastern side closest to town.
Add-Ons: Run on the quieter side streets off Main St. on the western side of the lake. Good opportunity to do some hills!
