Pokrovskoye Streshnevo Park

В.Галушко

This web of trails to the northwest of downtown Moscow provides endless combinations for a running ramble around the Moscow Canal and its surrounding lakes. Most of the paths are dirt or gravel. The gentler and most accessible trails are around the lakes and Administration area in the southeast of the park, making for a good 4.4 km loop. Or, wander along the many other trails in the park, some of which are in better shape than others. This is a good spot for those who prefer trail running. The park might be pretty for running in the winter months, but the trails are not ‘maintained’, so they could be snowy or icy.

Essentials

  • 19 meters (63 feet)
