Kapolei: Ko Olina Lagoon Paths

Google Street View

At the southwestern end of Oahu near Kapolei, there’s a concrete path linking several beachfront resorts in Ko’Olina. The path overlooks four man-made lagoons built in the late 1990s/early 2000s. There are water views and lush vegetation. Our thanks to Carl Amolat for this route recommendation!

The southern end is at Lagoon 4 at the Ko Olina marina/beach park, and the northern end is at Lagoon 1 at the Four Seasons Resort.  Additionally, the four lagoons make for some good ocean swimming locations. At their deepest point they are between 5-6 feet in depth. Overall, it’s neat 5k out & back run, with some additional small paths in the area.

Essentials
  • 3.1 miles (5 km) out and back
  • Flat
  • Any point along path
  • Park at any of the four lagoons, but the best bet/most parking space is near Lagoon 4.
