Paved multi-use trail that runs for 19 miles between St. Paul and Pine Point Regional Park. The trail becomes increasingly rural as you head north of the city, combining wooded sections with open parks and farmland.
63-mile 'rail trail' is a great way to access some of the beautiful countryside from near MSP. Combination of surfaces and terrain, from woodland to open fields. Runs from Plymouth to Cedar Mills, though there's access in Theodore Wirth State Park.

The paved Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail follows the American River for 32 miles between Sacramento and Folsom Lake, featuring several riverfront parks. It's the anchor of running in the area. We've mapped the full trail and some good loop oprtions.
Elaborately landscaped 427-acre park and historic district is one of the loveliest urban parks in the United States. Our 3.1 mile loop runs past the Temple to Music, and The Roger Williams Botanical Gardens. Good 2-mile add-on as well.
A former military installation, now a gorgeous park with miles of trails for walking and running. There are hills, wooded trails, and scenic vistas out to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. Also some great loop options involving Crissy Field.
Another great loop option involving the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Golden Gate Promenade. Take the Presidio Promenade Path through the Presidio, then return along Crissy Field. Great views and variety.
The Bosque de Aragón is a park located in the Gustavo A. Madero, near the International Airport of Mexico City. There is a 2.5 km paved path surrounding a fountain and a second 5 km dirt path around the perimeter of the park.
