Lake Willoughby

CC 3.0: Mwparenteau

Lake Willoughby is a beautiful Vermont Lake, popular in summer for swimming and in fall for the gorgeous water and mountain views. Rt. 5A travels for 5.2 miles between Willoughby North Beach and Willoughby South Beach. There are water views for part of theĀ  the way (especially at the south end), and good views of Winter Montain & Mt. PisgahAbout 1 mile of the route is on Old Rt. 5A. Note: Narrow shoulder. There isn’t a lot of traffic on this road, but caution is urged — especially during foliage season. Best to go early!
