Bob McClenahan/Visit Napa Valley

One of the top parks for running in the Napa area, Alston Park lies just west of Union. In addition to an extensive dog park where you can run with your best friend, this park features over three miles of gravel singletrack along the Redwood Creek and over rolling hills with great views of the Valley unfolding below. A single loop around the perimeter of the park is about 2.8 miles (4.5 km), but runners can extend the course by utilizing the park’s many cross-paths, or continuing along our Dry Creek Road route.

Fantastic park. Five min from where I was staying in Napa. Plenty of weaving paths/trails so one could get miles in without feeling too adventurous. Beautiful location. The local doggies are so lucky!
