Kuyalnytsky Estuary, located 10 km north of central Odesa, is a water body popular for its sandy shores and therapeutic mud baths. The terrain is a mix of grassland/scrub/dunes, with some nice views of the estuary at the center. For running, the best bet is to run on the sandy/gravel trails that run along the shoreline on either side of the water — we generally prefer the western side. You can run for many km north, from Lativka. Depending on the conditions, you can also run along the shoreline is as well, as the sand can be firm close to the water.
Post-run, take a swim/mud bath!
