Suan Luang/King Rama IX Park

This is the largest park in Bangkok. Call it a ‘destination run’, as it’s tough to get to: not accessible via public transport, and a traffick-ey drive 15 km from the city. If you make the journey, you’ll be rewarded with several km of running trails and paths. There’s a lake, a waterworks, and botanical gardens. Combine it with a journey to the famed Rod Fai night market.

A lap around the park is about 5 km.

Essentials
  • Several km of paths. A lap around is ~5 km.
  • Multiple entrances off Rama IX
  • 15 km from the city. Not easily accessible by public transport.
