Lumpini Park

This 142-acre park is centrally located and is the most important park in Bangkok. There are manicured gardens, an artificial lake, and plenty of lovely trees offering decent shade. The King Rama VI Monument is at the park’s entrance. Note: The park is reserved for walkers and runners in the morning between 7 to 10 and in the afternoon after 3 pm. There are also lockers and showers facilities available.

There is a 2.5 km running path around the park, with distance markers. There are other paths as well. This is one of the most popular places to run in the city. One bonus for lunchtime runners: there are showers and lockers available for rental. Keep an eye out for monitor lizards!
