Running inĀ Puerto Madero offers some of Buenos Aires’ best waterside and car-free routes. Puerto Madero is Buenos Airesā€™ most modern barrio. The area features architecture from some of the worldsā€™ most renowned architects. Luxury hotels, multi-plex cinemas, theaters, and corporate buildings occupy Puerto Madero.

Perfect for running is the dock-side area, with a straight waterside stretch ideal for an uninterrupted jog along the 4 inter linked docks, which are surrounded by large pathways. To access the waterside docks, we recommend runners begin through the bridge on Avenida CĆ³rdoba which will turn into Avenida Cecilia Grierson. Runners will head south down Avenida Alicia Moreau de Justo until they reach Avenida Estados Unidos. The loop is a bit over 5 km (3.2 miles). For a slightly longer run, take a jaunt through Parque Mujeres Argentinas and Parque Micaela Bastidas, which add about 1 mile, or do a quick loop around the Casa Rosada.

Add-Ons: Parque Mujeres Argentinas and Parque Micaela Bastidas, and Reserva EcolĆ³gica Costanera Sur.
