“It was Christmas Day and it unexpectedly snowed the night before, so the roads and trails were snow covered and icy. I’d never run in them before, but remembered that I had some Yaktrax. Traction was good and there was no one else out. The air was crisp and I felt great. It was pure quiet. A very tranquil and welcome Christmas morning run.
