Dhaka’s Botanical Garden is a popular visitor destination and also a good place to go for a run. The 84-acre grounds are a lush oasis, with an impressive collection of flora and fauna. From the main gate, a loop of the main paths around North Lake is ~4 km, and 6.5 km if the path around the perimeter of the zoo is included. It can get crowded, so best to go early. The Botanical Garden is located ~10 km west of the main city.
