For some easy trail running in central Fredericton, Odell Park is a great option. Located just southwest of downtown, the park features several km of wide gravel trails, through a mainly wooded landscape. There’s also a small botanical garden at the west edge of the park.
This trail map shows some of the trail loop options. The Main Woods trail is a 4.4 km loop, with some add-on options including the Black Forest Link and Thompson Field.
NOTE: The trails are popular for XC skiing in winter, and might not be appropriate for running.
