Killarney Lake Park, located in the northern part of Fredericton, features trail running for all abilities. There are 30 km of trails, including a 1.7 km loop around Killarney Lake. In summer, the lake is a popular swimming area, while in winter the trails are used for XC skiing. The trails are generally wooded. There’s a large parking area & pavillon with facilities at the southern end of the lake.
This trail map shows the various trail loop options, rated for level of difficulty. Some of the moderate rated trails are hillier. Generally, the trails are fairly wide and the footing is good.
