Wikimedia Commons: Ptncsu12

Just west of downtown, there’s a lovely run combining Lindley Park, the Greensboro Arboretum, Hamilton Lakes Park, and attractive neighborhood streets. Start at the parking lot of the Arboretum, and do a 1/2 mile around the paths of Lindley Park and a dip into the Arboretum. Exit the north end and take a LEFT on Madison Ave. for ~1 mile, entering Hamilton Lakes Park off Henderson Rd. Run west for 1.5 miles park on pleasant gravel paths, ending at a lake. Exit the park at the western end on Henderson Rd. again, then RIGHT on Farrar and RIGHT on W Friendly Ave. The return is through the scenic Hamilton Lakes neighborhood with its tree-lined streets and attractive homes. Use Dogwood Dr. for 1.5 miles, then RIGHT on Beverly Pl., to the start.

Add-Ons/Modifications: Can mix & match or combine with our central Greensboro route, which is ~2 miles east of the Arboretum.
