Engelliler Park to Inciralti Beach Bridge

Google Street View

This is a lovely park and waterfront run in the western part of İzmir, picking up near the end of our Kordon waterfront route. The heart of the route is through Engelliler Park/İnciraltı Kent Ormanı, a forested peninsula with waterside trails that locals refer to as ‘cennet bahçesi’ (heavenly garden). One can run along an unpaved waterside path or on interior, more shaded gravel paths, for nearly 2 km from east to west. Then, continue along a waterside path over a bridge to Oyun Park and the Levent Marina. Great water views! The path ends at Inciralti Beach Bridge.

We’ve mapped a 7.7 km out and back, using the waterfront path one-way and more interior park paths for the return.

Add-Ons: Additional paths in Engelliler Park. Can also continue east from Engelliler Park along our Kordon waterfront route for 9+ km!

Essentials
  • 7.7 km (4.8 miles) out and back
  • Flat
  • Engelliler Park
  • Bus access. Also, the Üçkuyular ferry terminal is adjacent to Engelliler Park
