The Kordon Alsancak is a gorgeous seafront promenade, and the signature run in İzmir. The wide path runs along the Aegean Sea for 9.3 km, from Alsancak south to Üçkuyular, near Engelliler Park. There are great views of the water the whole way, parks with additional paths, and several important İzmir sites. Distances from Alsancak, headed south:
0.8 km: Ataturk Museum
2.0 km: Pasaport ferry terminal
3.1 km: Konak ferry terminal/metro station
5.2 km: Sunset Pier
7.8 km: Göztepe ferry terminal & suspension bridge
9.3 km: End of path. Can continue just south into Engelliler Park
Add-Ons: several parks along the way with additional paths. Also, Engelliler Park at the southern end.
