Across the bay in Karşıyaka, there’s another scenic promenade along the Aegean Sea that makes for a scenic run. The path runs for 6.3 km between the Mavişehir marina (just north of Olad Palme Park) and Muammer Aksoy Park. There are terrific water views, a festive scene, and some important sites. Distances and sites, from Mavişehir:
0-1.3 km: Bostanlı Sahil Park
2.5 km: Bostanlı ferry terminal
3.2 km: Dolphins Statue
4.0 km: Karşıyaka Sahil Park
5.0 km: Karşıyaka Ferry Terminal
5.5 km: Atatürk Monument, and Muammer Aksoy park just south of there
6.3 km: End of path
