Little Bruce Trail, Prairie Creek Greenway

The Little Blue Trace Trail runs through the east end of Kansas City and Independence, following the Little Blue River. It’s a busy, 15 mile flat pathway with a unique combination of suburban and rural scenery. The northern terminus is at Little Bruce Trace Park, 25 miles east of downtown KC. Another favorite route outside of Kansas City is the Prairie Creek Greenway, located near the airport in Carroll. This asphalt pathway  forms a loop rather than a straight one-way. The prettiest part is 1.5 miles through the Prairie Creek Greenway park space. There are seven pedestrian bridge crossings and connections to many of the local neighborhoods. TRAIL INFORMATION.
