Parc d’Auzette Linear Park Path

Creative Commons 2.5: Père Igor

This is a pleasant run through Parc d’Auzette in southeastern Limoges. It’s on a series of paths for 5 km through a narrow linear park that connects Limoges to Panazol. The terrain is a combination of woods and open fields. The western end is off Rue d’Auzette, which is just south of Pont Neuf on the eastern bank of the Vienne River. Follow the path, through a series of small parks. At 1.5 km is the Jardins d’Auzette in the Parc du Mas-Rome. You’ll have to cross Rue Feytiat and run across a couple of fields before rejoining the path. Continue east, crossing the E9 at ~2 km, and run for another 3 km to a parking area at Rue Lavaud. The path is a gradual uphill from west to east.
