Gerladton is a coastal city in the Mid West region of the Australian state of Western Australia. It’s a major west coast seaport, and also popular for its lovely beaches. Running in Geraldton is centered on the extensive waterfront (foreshore).
The best place to run in Geraldton is along the seafront promenade path extending from the Esplanade north to St. George’s beach. The path is separated from the road and has great views out to the Indian Ocean. Another great places to run is the Greenough River Walking Trail, located 10 km south of Geraldton. The trail hugs the Greenough River for 8 km. The beaches in Geraldton are also generally runnable – the best ones for running are Greys Beach, Champion Bay Beach, St. Georges Beach. and Tarcoola Beach.
