Also known as the Buddy Holly Recreation Area, Hodges Park is a green space located on Llano Estacado Lake & Conquistador Lake — two narrow lakes that are more like a canal. There are paved trails on both sides of the lake, featuring nice views of the water.

Overall, one can do a loop of ~3.5 miles here. Our mapped route starts at the main parking lot near the Buddy Holly Gazebo. The trails run between Erskine St. in the south and Texas 289 Loop Rd. in the north.
