Emerald Ave, also known as F. Ortigas Jr. Road, is a booming center of commerce lined with towering malls, hotels, and offices. A wide sidewalk spans the length of the street, but it can be crowded. For optimal running conditions, it’s best to go early in the morning. Or better yet, wait for a Sunday when the entire road is closed to traffic. Still, the stretch is only .4 miles (.6 km), so for a longer run, you’ll need to put in multiple laps.
