There are some good running options in Nago, a city located on the central west coast of Okinawa and known for its beaches, inland hills, and theme parks.
21 Seikinomori Park to Agarie Beach. This is our favorite run in Nago. The park is located on Nago Bay and has pleasant paths through some forested areas and hydrangea plants. From near the parking lot at the northern end, run out the pier to enjoy spectacular water views. Then, follow the park’s paths south for ~2 km. You can continue around the marina area. Then, a path follows the water in Agarie for 1 km. There are occasional views, though there are large hedges as well.
Beach Running. The beach is also good for running. It goes for ~2 km through 21 Seikinomori Park and continues north to the Ona Resort.
Running Track. Just 0.5 km inland from the park, there’s an excellent running track at Nago City Athletic Field
Maja River Path. Google Street View
Kiseganju Park & Maja River Path. 10 km south of Nago, in an area popular for golf and upscale hotels, runners can enjoy a dedicated path along the Maja River near Kiseganju Park. There are paths along both sides of the narrow river. It’s very open & exposed, and there are water views. It’s 3k out & back.
Nago Castle Park. Located just 3 km inland from Nago Center, this is a great spot for runners who want hills and lush greenery. It’s a mainly forested park, with a long, steep road that climbs Mt. Nago. It’s ~5 km, climbing ~200m. There are also hiking paths in the park and lots of stairs! Nago Castle Park is also famous for its cherry blossoms, with a cluster near the Visitor Center. They typically bloom from from mid-January to mid-February.

Best option for a longer run in Naha, combining these two parks which feature marked jogging paths, Lake Man, and a running track. Add with some scenic bridges and a decent sidewalk along the Naha River.
Some favorite parks for running in Naha: Seaside paths from Wakasa Seaside Park to Umisora Park & in Ginowan Marina Seaside Park; tree-lined paths in Shintoshin Park; and decent running in the area of Shuri Castle.
The best place to run in Okinawa City is Okinawa Comprehensive Athletic Park, which has a running track and marked jogging routes of 3k, 4k, & 5k with a variety of open & shaded terrain and a nice waterfront section. Also a nice running track at Koza Sports Park.
A lovely waterfront park in this city of 100,000, located 10 km north of Naha. This all off-road route features a marina, pier out to a lighthouse, and seaside paths along Tropical Beach.
A favorite Okinawa run! Up to 8 km of waterfront paths combining Chatan Park & Araha Beach. Good water views the whole way, and a running track @ the stadium. Also in Chatan is the 'Stairway to Heaven' challenge - 300 steps!
Generally, the beaches on Okinawa aren't great for running: they tend to be short and feature fine-grained sand. Decent beaches for running are Sunset/Araha Beach, Emerald Beach, and Okuma Beach.
There are some good trail running options in Okinawa's interior, which is mountainous subtropical forest. Best options are Yambaru National Park, Mt. Nago area, and Mt. Yaedake area. Note: generally rugged & challenging.
