Glenn Cunningham Lake

This large reservoir in north central Omaha is home to the Feast and Feathers Thanksgiving trail run each November, but it’s a choice spot for a cross country route any time of the year. The dirt singletrack circling the lake is one of the most forgiving routes in the concrete jungle of Omaha, although parts of the route are asphalt, or follow the road on sidewalks. As a round trip, it’s about 6.7 miles. The park is open from 5 am to 11 pm daily.

Essentials
  • 6.7 mile loop
  • 186 feet
  • Park Road entrance
  • North 196th Street
