There are many wonderful beaches on Saint Martin. Unfortunately, they’re generally not great for running, as the sand tends to be quite soft. Also, many of the beaches are fairly short and narrow. Below are some of the best bets. And for more info on Saint Martin Beaches, this is a good link.
Simpson Bay Beach. Near the airport and Simpson Lagoon. 2 km long, with some fairly firm sand near the water.
Orient Bay Beach. The largest and most popular beach on Saint Martin. 1.5 km long, and sand can be firm-ish near the water. Can combine with some of the quieter side streets off the main road.
Great Bay Beach, Phllipsburg. In the Dutch capital of Saint Martin. Combine the 1 km boardwalk with the beach, which is a bit slanted but has some firm sand near the water.
