Just 20 km north of Otranto and on the coastal section of Lecce, there’s some pleasant coastal running in San Foca. This is only a 5k out & back, but there are lovely sea views along the waterfront promenade. Start at Li Marangi (beach) and follow the waterfront path alongside the Via Lungomare Matteotti. There are a couple of piers along the way that are worth a jaunt. Run north for ~2.5 km to Mora Mora Beach. Retrace your steps for the return.
Note: the beaches are fairly narrow and short, not really runnable.
