Features:
This is a pretty and straightforward run through Silver Spring Linear Park, which includes paths around the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo. There are paved multi-use paths, as well as gravel paths alongside Forestry Farm Park Dr. There are restrooms in the park. Bonus: lit at night.
Starting at the southern end at Forest Park, a paved path goes straight through the Forestry Farm Park and Silver Spring Park for 2 km, and then turns into gravel and continues for another 0.5 km through some small parks, ending at Cannam Park (Fedoruk Rd.). For the return, retrace your steps, but for some variety, once back in Silver Spring Park, use the eastern edge paths along Forestry Farm Park Dr. through the Farm Park and Zoo.
Longer Run: Our loop around the grasslands in the Northeast Swale Nature Preserve is adjacent to this run, starting in Cannam Park.
