The 100+ km of paved multi-use paths along both sides of the Han River (Han-Gang) are among most popular running spots in Seoul. A wonderful greenbelt, with various loop options involving the bridges and great river views. The paths run below the bridges.
Fantastic waterside running, with views to Vineyard Sound. There are two ~3 mile one-way sections: Surf Drive; and Grand Ave. & Menauhant Ave. from Falmouth Heights Beach to East Falmouth. A 2 mile 'inland' section separates these two areas.
Paved bicycle trail that runs 22 miles from South Dennis to Wellfleet. The CCRT passes by many local points of interest &several areas with lakes suitable for swimming /picnicking, including Nickerson State Park in Brewster. Includes 5-mile spur to Chatham.
Enjoy the 1.4 mile loop around Lake Mayer, and the new Truman Linear Park Trail. Can also 1.5 miles over to the former Wormsloe plantation for a jaunt along the famous wide avenue lined with gorgeous live oaks. Even more: Isle of Hope.
This important visitor destination in Shanghai is also an iconic place for a run! The Bund is a pedestrian path along the Huangpu River, with historic buildings and great river & skyline views. Recently expanded to include the North Bund.
Good opportunity for a longer off-road run in Shanghai. Mostly separated path runs for 16 km from Waibaidu Br. southwest to Changning. We point out some good sections. Can combine w/Bund route.
There's now ~23 km of continuous path along the east bank of the Huangpu River, a major improvement in recent years. Great river & skyline views, numerous parks. We've outlined several sections.
The 200-acre park is among the largest green spaces in Shanghai. There is a lake, marsh area, forest, & European gardens. It's about 4 km around the perimeter paths. Check out the new 'smart track'!
Former military site is now a park, with 25+ km of trials around woods, meadows, wetlands, and small lakes. There's also a 10 km paved path along Køge Bay. Amager Fælled is also home to a weekly Parkrun.
