Veli Lošinj Waterfront

There’s also some nice running in the village of Veli Lošinj, which is located 5 km to the southeast of Mali Lošinj. This scenic waterfront path is a bit more rugged and hillier than the route in Mali Lošinj. The heart of the route, extending from the village center, extends for 2.3 km south toward Plaza Javorna (beach). It’s a gentle rolling hill path, concrete and a bit narrow in spots. There are lovely water views. Near the start, there’s a scenic pier that extends for ~0.5 km to the Molo Rovenska historical landmark.

Also from the village, head north for 1 km on the waterside road. This road climbs above the water, offering panoramic views.

Add-Ons. There’s a network of hilly, quiet roads inland from the village rising above the water. These roads (some of them quite narrow) are quaint and scenic, passing older buildings and residences. Although there’s no sidewalk, there isn’t a lot of traffic.
