This is a nice little park tucked away in Mission Viejo, just east of I-5. One can put together 3-4 miles of trails in the Oso Viejo Community Park. The southern end of the trail is in a busier commercial area, off Marguerite Parkway. The trails wind north through the park, featuring an Oak Grove, garden maze, butterfly garden, and a walkway made of recycled glass. The trails are a mix of surfaces.
For a longer run, the residential neighborhood east of the park and south of Jeronimo Rd. is pleasant for running. Wide roads with sidewalks, and pretty homes. Somewhat hilly.
